So since I'm playing a kleptomaniac dwarf, I realized that in any potential interaction, there's a good chance of Nori stealing something from any character he manuevers into arm's reach of. As these objects belong to other characters however, I don't want to godmod him lifting things, no matter how skilled he might be. However, I also don't know what those objects might be, so I figured a special permissions post might do some good!
Nori has notoriously sticky fingers, and no matter what it is, if he can reach it, it'll probably be disappearing into a pocket very soon, never to be seen again. He may or may not be swayed to give something back, and is likely to initiate a chase across any given village or country if he's noticed. And don't mind if later your character discovers an object somewhere other than where they put it- it's a bit of a game to him.
To make this simple, I compiled a short form to fill out! Just copy and post it to the comments below!

Date: 2015-02-20 05:55 am (UTC)From:Yes you can steal from Gai. He's likely to have scrolls, kunai and shuriken, his wallet, incidental items, and possibly in the future a ring in a box, but not yet. Neji will know when that ring plot happens, so you/youko will know. Spoliers.
The ring will be hidden and sealed, but that doesn't mean he couldn't possibly nab it. The ring and any personal items (photos of team Gai, a notepad for challenges, etc) are the only things I think I would object to nori keeping.
Oh and yeah...like Lee with the weights. Good luck if you want to pilfer those.

Anything he'd never get away with?: I mean, those scrolls are pretty important to her, you know, and she has them on her always. So any missing weight or unauthorized shift in distribution, she would be able to catch pretty quickly.
Additional notes: There will likely be an epic chase scene. And if/when they come to friendly terms, possibly a cute game of taking turns stealing things from each other every time they meet.

if there's more to be had, I'll let you know somewhere, lint, the odd scroll or two containing lessons or lists, a football-sized chimaeric spider summon by the name of Miourugumo, other spider summons, spiders that aren't summons, spider egg sacs (seasonal), manju, toilet paper, wire forged from Shizuoka spider silk, and a few bandages and medical tape probably.Anything he'd never get away with?: The spiders, the wire, and the manju are the no-no's. He's extremely sensitive about these three items. In the case of the first, Mi-chan and other spiders probably wouldn't go willingly and can generally cause severe injury depending upon the type of spider. The wire is his preferred weapon and he's as aware of it as he is an arm, leg, or finger. Manju is a priceless possession and the love of his young life. He won't respond well to attempted theft of these three items in particular.

Date: 2015-03-13 07:18 am (UTC)From:Can Nori steal from your character(s)?: There's probably a good chance anything that's on her of value is under a genjutsu or henge, since she's not likely to carry anything like that casually. It would depend on whether he could overcome that.
What kind of objects can be found on your character?: Usually? Hair pins? Her coin purse stashed somewhere. Small ninja tools. Her forehead protector, which she usually uses as a bandana. Small blades to cut herself with if she doesn't feel like biting her thumb, probably.
Anything he'd never get away with?: Her hairband, I'd think. Her coin purse is kept pretty securely on her person so it'd be difficult to get away from her without her noticing, too.
Additional notes: If he makes a pick pocketing attempt and fails, she's likely to use a genjutsu with the intent of fooling him into thinking he's picked up something (or that there's something to pick up) that seems outwardly valuable but has some troublesome jutsu on it to torment him with in some way as long as he's within range of her control. If he succeeds, there's not much on her of worth that she'd chase him for, except maybe her wallet. Expect any chase to involve dangerous jutsu from her end.
Rin
Can Nori steal from your character(s)?: Sure, Rin is probably a bit too lax.
What kind of objects can be found on your character?: Medical supplies, ninja tools, her wallet of ryo, pictures of her team at various ages, notes. Random baubles she's picked up over the day that caught her attention, a few summoning scrolls containing more advanced medical supplies.
Anything he'd never get away with?: It's not likely he'd get away with her summoning scrolls, she has those tucked away and are the only things she keeps a close eye on.
Additional notes: Village-wide chases are likely if she catches him stealing things. And she will probably get people in on the chase if he takes anything like her wallet of her pictures.
Hotohori
Can Nori steal from your character(s)?: He can, but that's probably an international felony of some sort. And Hotohori looks like an easier mark than he really is.
What kind of objects can be found on your character?: Jewelery. Very, very expensive jewelery. Hair pins, rings, bracelets, random gem-encrusted items of clothing. It depends on if he meets Hotohori on the road where he's dressed down, or if he's in expensive official robes. He's also likely to have a purse of ryo, expensive trinkets like excessively gaudy pen and ink, a pack somewhere on him that includes appropriate tools to take care of his sword, small ninja tools...just...he's kind of a gold mine of pointless and expensive things, usually.
Anything he'd never get away with?: The seals he carries around as daimyo, if he's on official business. His sword, his oldest and most expensive ring (an important bauble for his family), almost anything in plain view of Hotohori would be difficult. His ninja tools are probably just hard to find at all.
Additional notes: Stealing things will probably get him into trouble with Noodle. Most of the things Hotohori would probably just try to deal with himself if he noticed they were gone/caught Nori doing it, but if any of the thefts were detected by the rest of the leadership, there'll be an incident. Also like said, he is likely to look like a much softer/more unobservant mark than he really is. If he catches Nori in the act, he'll more likely intercept him and chastise him than anything else, though.

Anything he'd never get away with?: Of course, the summon scroll for her staff as it is her primary weapon. She keeps that very close to her person. Mika travels pretty light when possible.
Additional notes: Hm, Mika would definitely give him a good chase if she realized he snatched something. It's more about the intent than the actual item, expect some tongue lashing at minimum.
